We can now design your fire systems with AutoCad Revit 3D Modelling
Interfire Systems is pleased to announce that we have made significant investments into both technology and talent to further enforce our standing as one of the leading fire protection companies.
Our own in-house design department has been expanding with expert fire designers in full Revit 3D Modelling for all fire system projects.
Visualizing an entire construction project can be difficult. The rise of virtual building design has made this simpler, allowing simulations of how a fully constructed building equipped with all fire systems will look like on the inside and from the outside. This concept is called Building Information Modeling, or BIM, and it gives our fire design teams and clients a better understanding of fire systems compared with conventional 2D drawings.
As one of the few leading fire protection companies that can deliver full 3D BIM models, there are significant benefits for both new build projects and ongoing service management and maintenance:
- 3D modelling gives our clients a full 3D walkthrough to visualize all fire systems.
- The benefit of BIM begins with efficient construction due to clash detection and resolution through the design model rather than during construction causing delays and costly reworks on site.
- BIM benefits facilities management in the handover of the building from the construction team to building management.
- Any maintenance issues, queries or faults can be located in the 3D model which cant be seen in a live operational building resulting in faster defect identification and resolution.
Interfire Systems has designed several flagship projects fully utilising Revit 3D Modelling. The Tier 1 Tweed Valley Hospital on behalf of the New South Wales Government constructed under Lend Lease and a Robina Office Building constructed by QIC both leveraged BIM 360 allowing for faster design, a higher level of detail and cost efficiency.
We are able to offer this full fire design consultancy for new installation as well as comprehensive support for your existing systems.
